Darkforged Beginner Guide: First Quests & Gear

Start Darkforged with your first quests, class skill and gear upgrade. Learn what to keep, when to visit the workshop and how to save your character.

Complete one quest loop first

After creating a character, collect the current village quest from the quest panel. Use its tracked objective and delivery link to check where to go, what to defeat and whom to return to. Defeating a monster alone does not always complete delivery. After handing in First Steps, continue with Meet the Butcher and Provisions for the Road. Blacksmith quests introduce salvage and enchanting. Finish the accepting, fighting, collecting and delivery loop before pushing into distant maps.

Learn a skill and prepare supplies

When you receive a class skill book, check its level requirement, learn it from the bag and put the skill somewhere convenient. Before leaving town, check healing and mana supplies, quick slots and a way home. Warrior, Wizard and Taoist use different resources, so another class’s equipment choices may not suit yours.

Compare the first upgrade

Open a new item’s details and check class, slot and actual required level before comparing life, main stats, defence and useful effects. Rings and bracelets have two slots: compare against the item you would actually replace. Colour or one attack number alone is not enough to decide.

Keep a base and try one workshop action

When a normal socketed item drops, check whether a runeword needs its type and exact number of sockets. Choose salvage, enchanting, socketing or the cube from the four workshop icons. The cube has its own acquisition conditions; you do not need every service for your first upgrade.

Save before leaving

Favourite equipment that you plan to keep and confirm your character has saved. Guest characters stay in this browser. Game sign-in enables automatic cloud sync. Before changing devices, confirm successful sync in this game’s cloud panel. Return through Darkforged to continue.
