Darkforged Crafting: Salvage, Enchant & Reforge

Choose the Darkforged workshop service that matches your goal. Salvage unwanted gear for materials, enchant one chosen affix, insert runes on the socketing page, or use cube recipes for eligible upgrades and reforges. The recipe book helps you look up requirements; spending happens in the service’s confirmation screen, with material, skill, cube and service conditions still enforced.

Salvage: exchange unwanted gear at a smith

Salvage accepts magic-or-better Darkforged gear at the appropriate blacksmith service; a Pandora Box is not required. It consumes the target. Favourites are excluded from automatic salvage selection. Compare drops, favourite the pieces worth keeping, then process the equipment you no longer need.

Enchant: choose one affix to keep rerolling

Enchanting uses an essence matching the item’s quality and a gold fee. After the first enchant locks in an affix slot, later enchants on that item can only reroll that slot. This is different from reforging the entire item; it does not let you replace every affix one by one. New primary affixes use the current equipment-guide tiers; existing fixed attributes are not automatically recalculated.

Socketing and the cube solve different problems

The cube opens sockets on eligible plain bases, upgrades magic items to rare, reforges a rare item and upgrades runes. Rune insertion uses the separate socketing page. Essences, socketing and cube actions use the materials and prerequisites defined by Darkforged.

Quest and basic recipes have their own rules

Darkforged provides quest crafting, material processing, handmade equipment and basic Pandora recipes. They retain their own materials and skill conditions. Their output follows the recipe rather than guaranteeing random legendary gear. Ordinary recipe selection avoids favourites and magic-or-better Darkforged gear.

Read the quote and the actual ingredients

The in-game recipe book searches ingredients and outputs, displays owned, usable and missing quantities, and opens the real workshop. This website does not read your bag and cannot tell you that your character can craft something. Check the cost, the selected target and the irreversible spend before confirming.

Keep the base, then complete the rune order

The normal base must match the recipe’s type and exact total sockets. Insert runes in order to combine their own properties with the additional runeword effects.

The capture keeps the rune names used when recorded. Use the current Rune 1–Rune 8 names and recipes on this page.
