Cross-Device Saves Are Planned
A future update will add accounts and cross-device save sync so you can continue on another computer. For now, saves stay in this browser and cannot be uploaded or loaded elsewhere. Release notes will explain how sync works when it becomes available.
Play Without an Account
This website currently offers guest play. Creating a character and continuing the game require no account, and game saves are not uploaded.
Saves Belong to a Browser and Site Address
Progress is stored in the browser’s site storage. Return using the same browser and site address to continue. Different domains, ports, browser profiles and devices have separate save storage.
Save Protection & Site Connection
Local saves are encrypted. Older saves migrate automatically with updates while retaining characters. When online, the game checks the official-site connection and game version using a site session cookie; it does not upload characters or saves. This does not certify progress as cheat-free.
What Can You Play Offline?
Character selection, the game core and maps load in stages. Downloaded content remains available offline. A first visit or an uncached map or asset still needs a connection. Use the System menu to download the full offline resources when needed.
Keeping Your Progress
Use a normal browser window and allow site storage. Save manually from the System menu; automatic saving also runs during play. Clearing site data, uninstalling the browser or closing a private session may erase local progress. There is currently no cloud copy to restore.
Why Did I Return to Town After Reloading?
Character progress is saved, but the map’s monster state is not a permanent save. Re-entering returns you to your home town and rebuilds the monsters. This is the current single-player save behaviour.
Before Changing Computers
Save import, export and cloud recovery are not available. Save from the System menu before leaving, and keep the original browser and site data. Continue on the original device until sync becomes available. Signing into a browser account does not transfer your game characters.
Multiple Tabs & Future Sync
Keep only one game tab open in a browser to avoid competing save writes. Cross-device sync is planned; account access, uploading, loading and conflict handling will be explained when it launches. Saves cannot currently be read on another device.
